Message from the Principal

Dear Students, Staff & Stakeholders,

Amguri College, established on 17th July, 1967, is situated in a rural and frontier place between Assam and Nagaland. The College is surrounded by evergreen tea-gardens and it is the only higher education institute in the entire locality. The College, since its inception, has been extending service for the betterment of the student community.

As the college has maximum numbers of enrollment of girls, many of whom come from the tea-garden communities, the college offers special facilities and support for them. The college has been accredited three times by NAAC and has been awarded Grade 'A' in its most recent inspection.

The college offers both Arts and Commerce streams along with various professional and add-on courses. The teaching and non-teaching faculty of the college are very cordial and the rapport with students is benevolent. I wish all the stakeholders associated with the college a glorious journey ahead.
