Department of Logic

The Department of Philosophy at Amguri College was started in 2005. Pallavi Borpatragohain was the founding teacher and served until 2010. In 2014, Dibrugarh University approved the pass course in Philosophy. Presently, Mrs. Ashima Khanikor (joined 2013) is the faculty of the department. There is no permanent post in the department at present.

The department has a glorious academic history — students have secured letter marks in Philosophy in Higher Secondary Final Examinations. Four batches have already completed their degree course in Philosophy under the pass course.
