Assistant Professor
Dr.
Priyanka Dutta is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department
of Economics, Amguri College, Amguri. Dr. Dutta did her post-graduation from
Gauhati University in 2009 with specialisation in econometrics, operations
research and environmental economics. She
received her PhD degree in economics from the same university in 2019. In her
doctoral dissertation, she studied the status of financial inclusion of the tea
garden labourers of Assam. Dr. Dutta has published
research articles in different journals. She has also attended various seminars
and workshops.
Dr. Dutta has joined
Amguri College on 1st February 2012. Since then she has been
teaching at undergraduate and Higher Secondary level. She is also assigned to
other administrative responsibilities in the college. She is the founder
secretary of Amguri College Employees Thrift and Credit Society. She is also the convenor
of Amguri College Career Counselling/Entry in service information cell. In
addition, she is a member of Amguri College Student welfare committee, Amguri
College Research and Consultancy Committee, Amguri College Seminar Committee and
Amguri College Extra-Curricular and Extension activities committee.
