Biography

Dr Borthakur joined as Lecturer in the Department of Economics  in Amguri college on 1/03/1990 .

She has been rendering her service in the Department since then with full dedication.

She completed her two Orientation courses in 1997 and 2003 at Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University respectively.Thus she completed her two Refresher courses from JNU,New Delhi on 1997 and Dibrugarh University in 2002 .She completed her Ph.D degree on 2003 from Dibrugarh University .She for the purpose of completing the Ph.D degree joined as teacher fellow in DU during the period 2000-2004.

She joined in a few National and state level seminars and presented papers which are published in various volumes. Such some examples ACKS journal,NEEA journal etc.

She cooperates in all college academic and development activities by involving in various committees like Coordinator of college Academic affairs committee,She is member of IQAC,women cell,College Research and publication committee etc.

She became the teacher representative of College Governing Body and president of the Teachers Unit.
